Shopify CRO Tips & Test Ideas | June 2026
Here are some of our top June testing ideas and tips to help you drive growth and scale revenue.
1. Wider cart drawer→ +5.1% desktop CR

WHY IT WORKED:
Unlike mobile, on desktop the cart doesn’t have to feel tight.
A wider cart can mean more products visible at once, less clutter, more focus, and a larger checkout CTA.
Clearer cart, clearer next step → more checkout clicks.
2. Mobile menu: last viewed PLP → +5% revenue (returning visitors)

WHY IT WORKED:
Most mobile menus treat everyone the same. But returning shoppers have context, so don’t make them hunt.
Showing their last viewed collection at the top of the menu means: Less scrolling → faster browsing → more add-to-carts.
3. PDP: breadcrumbs → +6% CR

WHY IT WORKED:
Shopify PDPs become a dead end when shoppers land there directly.
Breadcrumbs fix that by giving shoppers an easy way to continue exploring.
TIP: Build them from product tags, style them like links, and skip “Home” since the logo already does that.
4. PLP: size selector on hover → +4.2% revenue

WHY IT WORKED:
When available sizes show immediately, there are no extra clicks, and less back-and-forth. Better experience → more revenue.
NOTE: “Quick Add” can backfire for non-apparel and high-consideration products (where it skips info people actually need).
